Extended Day Program

Regular Hours of Operation
(beginning September 4, 2007)
Monday: 2:00 - 6:00pm
Tuesday-Friday: 3:15 - 6:00pm
(exceptions: early dismissal schedule)

An Extended Day Program is offered to our school families for children in Kindergarten through 8th grade.   The program is located above the school cafeteria with an entrance stairwell located opposite of the cafeteria bathrooms.   The regular hours of the program are from dismissal until 6:00 p.m.   The children sign in, receive a snack and drink, play outdoors, create crafts and are given the opportunity to do their homework.  When picking up your children, please come upstairs to sign them out. The name of the person signing them out must be on file.

Rates for 2008-09 School Year: There is a $25 registration fee for each child.  For children attending Monday through Friday, the fee is $375 per month.  For children attending part-time, the fee is $30 per day on Mondays and $25 per day Tuesdays through Fridays.

If you have already registered for after-school care, your student(s) may attend their scheduled day as long as the following required forms are in the after-school care files. If you have not registered, please be aware that we are near capacity.  To register, please print, complete and return the following forms.

Billing

There will be a new billing process for the 2007-2008 program.  Please do not make any payments until you receive a billing statement.  This includes the registration fee.

Inclement Weather Policy for Extended Day:

If St. Timothy School is closed due to inclement weather, then the Extended Day Program will be closed.

If Fairfax County dismisses early, the Extended Day Program will be closed
