Room Mother
The room mother for our class is Carrie Re. She can be contacted via email at: RM1A@sainttimothyschool.org. She will be in contact with each family regarding volunteering in and outside the classroom for special events; during Art, Computer, PE and Library; and will forward schoolwide PTO announcements via email. To assist her in communicating with the class, please contact her with your email address and willingness to volunteer. She has created a schedule for snacks for special events. It is available for your viewing online.
Communication
Please contact me via email. I typically post information every day on my SchoolNotes site. Please check regularly. Also, check my website at www.mrsrutledge.com where you can find copies of handouts, extra credit work, pictures, videos, etc.
Rules
Class rules and school rules focus on integrity, fortitude, compassion, and respect. Rewards are given for individual accomplishment as well as class rewards. Please check homework book for color coded message concerning behavior.
Homework
Typically 10 minutes per night Monday through Thursday. Please check both your child's yellow assignment folder and my SchoolNotes site for the daily homework. A list of the week's spelling words is available on the SchoolNotes site.
Snack
The class will have one snack per day at 10:00. All snacks in the classroom must be peanut free. Children are welcome to bring a snack to celebrate their birthday.
Volunteering
To volunteer for Specials, please contact your Room Mother, who will prepare a schedule of volunteers for Art, Library, PE and Computers. For your convenience, schedules will be available online.
