Spanish

St. Timothy School provides a language program for students in Kindergarten through 8th grade.   In Kindergarten through 5th grade the program introduces students to common words, phrases and expressions and provides cultural enrichment.  In Grade 6 the program begins a formal academic program in which the students increase their formal knowledge of vocabulary and grammar, as well as formal speaking and writing.  In 7th through 8th grade, Spanish becomes an integral part of their core curriculum, with the goal of enabling the students to enter high school at the second level of Spanish if they wish to continue.
