                To streamline the certification process, completed Virtus paperwork packets will be accepted in the school office by appointment only and should NOT be sent to the Diocesan offices directly. Please send an email or call the school office to request an appointment.

Protecting God's Children" Class, mandatory for all parent volunteers, will be offered at various dates and locations.  You may check for availibility at www.virtus.org.

Parent Volunteers:

In order to volunteer, all parents need to be compliant with the Diocese's "Protecting God's Children" program requirements.  No adult will be allowed into the school to interact with children in the classroom, cafeteria, playground, field trips, field day, coaching, special classes, Colonial Day/Medieval  Day, etc. who has not met these deadlines.  All adults must complete paperwork and take a class.. Classes are held throughout the Diocese.  Classroom teachers and the front office will maintain a list of compliant parents.   If you are not on the list, you will not be able to interact with children in the school.

_____  Virginia Department of Social Services/Child Protective Services (print) THIS FORM MUST BE PRINTED TWO-SIDED, BACK-TO-BACK ON ONE SHEET OF PAPER, AND BE NOTARIZED

_____  Diocese of Arlington Criminal Background Check Release Form (print from Diocese site)

_____  Code of Conduct (print from Diocese site)

_____ Diocese of Arlington Questionnaire - (print from Diocese site)

_____ Acknowledgement of Receipt of Diocese of Arlington Policy on Child Protection  (print and sign last page)

_____ "Protecting God's Children for Adults" Class developed by Virtus - To register go on-line to the VIRTUS web site and click on "Registration" on the left side.  The program will guide you through the process.  There are many classes held all over the Diocese at various parishes.

FEES

Please ignore all references to fees on individual forms.  The fees have been consolidated into one $30 processing fee.  Checks should be made payable to St. Timothy School and should accompany forms.
