Volunteering Opportunities
Points for Parents
We ask each family to donate some time to the school. Volunteer opportunities will be assigned a point value. Each family is being asked to volunteer and earn a minimum of 60 points for the school year, which would approximate 12 hours of donated time. A fee will be assessed for those families that do not volunteer the minimum amount by the end of the school year. Information about this program was included in the August brown envelopes.
VOLUNTEERING/POINTS PROGRAM Email trackingpointsforparents@sainttimothyschool.org to report points earned and/or checking on status of points earned. Instructions for entering your points are provided in the black notebook next to the laptop at the front office window. You may also download these instructions here. |
TB Testing of Volunteers
To ensure the health of our students, the Diocese of Arlington requires that all staff and volunteers provide a medical statement regarding being "free of communicable tuberculosis". The health statement must be based on the results of either a PPD skin test or chest x-ray (if you have previously tested positive with a skin test). The original test must be performed within the last 12 months and repeated every 3 years if you are working with the elementary level or every 2 years at the preschool level and aftercare.
